Local flowers, grown by local hands, brought together in one place
Over the past few years of growing Wye Grow, one thing has become really clear…
There are so many incredibly talented flower growers right here in Herefordshire and the surrounding counties – quietly growing beautiful, seasonal flowers that deserve to be seen, celebrated, and used more widely.
At the same time, florists are often telling me how hard it can be to source consistent, locally grown stems without juggling multiple suppliers, emails, and last-minute messages.
So, it felt like the natural next step to bring the two together.

What is the Wye Flower Grower Collective?
The Wye Flower Grower Collective is a local flower hub – a simple way for growers and florists to connect, trade, and support each other.
It brings together a network of growers from Herefordshire, Powys, Monmouthshire and surrounding areas, all offering their flowers through one shared online shop front.
For florists, it means:
One place to browse what’s in season
One order, even if it includes flowers from multiple growers
Fresh, local stems with full traceability
For growers, it means:
A ready-made route to market
Support with promotion and visibility
No need to manage multiple individual sales
More time spent growing, less time chasing invoices
How It Works
Each week, the shop opens for growers to upload what they have available – whether that’s buckets of mixed stems, specific varieties, or foliage.
Florists can then browse and order directly through the platform.
Once orders are placed:
Growers harvest and prepare their flowers
Everything is delivered to the hub in Eardisley
Orders are sorted and ready for collection (or onward delivery where arranged)
It’s designed to be simple, efficient, and collaborative – with everyone benefiting from being part of something bigger.
Built on Collaboration, Not Competition
This isn’t about competing – it’s about strengthening what we already have.
By working together, we can:
Increase the availability of British-grown flowers
Offer greater variety and consistency to florists
Reduce reliance on imported blooms
Support small, local businesses to thrive
There’s something really powerful about seeing flowers grown just down the road being used in weddings, events, and homes across our region.
Supporting the Local Flower Movement
The Collective is part of a much bigger shift towards seasonal, sustainable floristry.
Flowers that are:
Grown, not flown
Freshly cut and longer lasting
Full of scent, movement, and character
Connected to the landscape and the people who grew them
It’s about reconnecting floristry with the seasons – and making it easier for everyone to be part of that.
Get Involved
If you’re a grower interested in joining the Collective, or a florist looking to source local flowers more easily, I’d love to hear from you.
This is just the beginning, and it’s already shaping up to be something really special.
Together, we can build a stronger, more connected local flower community – one stem at a time.
